out of step
I'm out of step. MD and I are on equal footing. Other guys are getting into it. But tomorrow's another day. Have to make a great leap son! To anyone else who's reading this, this isn't supposed to make any sense. It's mostly for me. Have a nice day!

shape up
Getting into the groove again. Have to shape up more though. The American Keony dared yesterday so it's to win.

vs the world
Top for the week again. See everyone's after me now. The Asia vs. Europe was won by Asia. Now it's the Philippines against the world. Well, we won it for two straight weeks but now it's getting more personal. Slow day. Have to make a very clear gap on everyone else's tomorrow.

top
Still on top. The thing is, people now see me as the man to beat. I guess that's a good thing overall. Have to maintain and increase I guess. Even MD (Bangladeshi) is just one behind. The Irish and English guys think I'm hitting on the Mexican Girl, Blanca, probably because of the conversation and THEY wish they were doing it. Other high-rollers of the week include Crystal (Canadian). Have to teach the Kiwis and the Asians. Probable competition next week is the new English guy, Marcus. Have to work on leadership and consistent lead at least for the month. Day trips to Umina, mainly on Ocean Beach. Get Cam. Goal for the week: Retain being number one, raging increase and go for leadership.

high-rolling
No. 2 in the whole state. Just this day, Amond did one more than me, so we're equal now. Have to make a very clear gap for the rest of the week. AND aim for number one in the state.

No. 1
I've got a word and a number for you. The word is Number, and the number is 1! It's official. Have to work on consistent increase and on leadership.

weekend
Friday night bar. Seem to be making new friends : JJ, girl from Holland; Rob Steadman, true-blue aussie. This guy Gaz says my reputation precedes me. Don't get too cocky. Still waiting for it to be official. Saturday: Went to Indonesian restaurant with Wilson and his boardmates. This day (Sunday), went to Burwood for their festival. Mig people danced the pandango. There's also the Marrickville fest down the road.

week
On a competition with Amond. I think he's ahead by one. I think of it as nothing less than Asia vs. Europe. Hundreds of years of European domination we have to break at this level mate!

OZ in SS
Ooh, bad news. Jakarta incident could mean more Aussie maritime involvement in the Philippine Southern Seas. Remind to get the time to at least write about it for Bulatlat.
Warped Space-Time
Before I forget this. There's this old idea, starting from Einstein, elaborating that matter warps space-time. So that light from a distant star would seem to bend around the periphery of the sun and therefore distorts the seen position of the star. That's because according to the General Theory of Relativity, the mass of the Sun bends the space-time continuum around it, much like a heavy ball produces a dimple on a stretched sheet.
Now I was on the way to expanding that to conclude that matter not only warps space-time, matter may indeed be warped space-time.
Too bad I couldn't go through the equations I needed to study. Other ostentaneously urgent matters captured my attention. I just hope I can still be able to talk to physicist friends regarding the latest in their fields. Oh I miss it so much. Gina's in plasma, Omer and Atom are quite busy with social issues at the moment...
Guess I'll have to catch up on the latest sci-news in pulp and virtualia.

Best thing about Americans
Interviewer: What's the best thing about Americans?
Pedestrian: They're over there, we're over here.

shower temperate
One of the nuisances of living in a temperate region is having to balance the shower water temperature. At first you have to stand in your cold, naked glory before you finally find the water warm or hot enough for you to bathe in the uplifting outpouring of heavenly purification.

high-roll
One of the high rollers of the week. It's a numbers game! 10673405764162. And we're number one in the whole of Aust-NZ (not only in NSW, as indicated earlier)! Yeah! Just this day, Keony's team and ours I think were tied. Go, Karma!

hail storm
A hail storm just came up. Green grass at front lawn suddenly turned white, a red car parked under a tree to avoid the ice. Birds scurrying about as solidified water attacked their wings. Good thing it's a Sunday.
